About

I am a Postdoc at the HAITrans lab for the University of Vienna, developing models for text representation, and Machine Translation. In particular, I am interested in deep generative models for neural Machine Translation.

My research interests are in: Machine translation, medical informatics, quality estimation, evaluation of machine translation, semantic textual similarity, recognizing textual entailment, and word sense disambiguation.

• We’ve successfully applied for a grant to develop machine translation research for the medical domain from the Google Cloud research credits programme on the 2nd of March, 2022.

• I’ve joined the University of Vienna as a post doc on the 2nd of November, 2021.

• I’ve joined the AMC-UvA as an assistant professor on the 1st of September, 2019.
